Aaron Jeffery
The Logie
Award-winning actor of New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. His roles
include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also
played the role of Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Born in
Howick, Auckland, Jeffery relocated to Australia at the age of 17 and studied
acting at NIDA. He graduated with his NIDA degree in 1993. After that the
graduation, he began his television career working on the show for children
called Ship to Shore. Jeffery is famous for his part as Alex Ryan in McLeod's
Daughters. The show ended in 2008. He also was a part of the third season of
the New Zealand drama Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery played Frank in Underbelly:
Badness. He wrapped filming on 22 June. The following day it was revealed that
Jeffery was joining the cast of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. In
October, it was announced that Jeffery had been assigned as a Wentworth
corrections officer. Bevan Lee's series Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In
April, it was announced 2021 that Jeffery will be appearing in the Netflix
thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is based on the Karin Slaughter novel.
For his role in McLeod’s Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for
Most Popular Drama Series actor in 2004 and 2007.
